Meet our Amazing Team

Amazing Laser opened its doors as an Austin owned laser hair removal clinic in 2003.   It evolved over the years adding several other aesthetic services and moving to a couple of different locations.

In April 2007, Amazing Laser closed its doors and re-opened under new ownership as Amazing Laser of Austin, Inc.  I purchased some of the original company’s assets, added some new equipment, and began defining our focus, services and mission.   Once all was said & done it became clear to me that there were two things that came with the deal that are absolutely invaluable: the fantastic staff and the clients.

Whether you are new to Amazing Laser of Austin, or we “inherited” you from the previous business, I invite you to visit us to see what we are all about today.   If you have unwanted hair or the unpleasant effects of age or sun damage, our experienced staff and cutting edge technology can help you improve and maintain a beautiful, healthy, youthful appearance.  Our goal is not to “sell” services, but to provide safe and effective aesthetic procedures, including individual client evaluations and honest consultations prior to treatment.   We strive to operate with professional integrity at all times.

Mary LeBourgeois, R.N., C.L.P.

Our Staff:

Mary LeBourgeois, Registered Nurse, Certified Laser Professional
Owner/Executive Director

Mary is a registered nurse with almost 30 years of working experience.  She graduated from Iowa Methodist Medical Center in 1978, and moved to Austin in 1982.  Until now, all of her professional experience has been hospital based in a variety of clinical and administrative positions.   As the owner and Executive Director of Amazing Laser of Austin, she is excited to shift her professional focus to medical aesthetics.   She is a member of the Society of Dermatology of Skin Care Specialists and recently became certified as a laser professional.

Angie Pennington, Licensed Esthetician, Certified Laser Professional

Assistant Director

Angie is a licensed esthetician and certified laser professional with additional education in the specific use of our equipment.  She has been employed at Amazing Laser since June of 2006, and has performed hundreds of laser procedures.  She maintains current knowledge related to all areas of her esthetic practice.   In addition to performing many types of procedures, Angie also serves as Assistant Director of Amazing Laser of Austin.

Jana Martin, Licensed Esthetician, Certified Laser Professional

Jana is originally from Brazil and has been living in the US since 2002.  She is a licensed esthetician and certified laser professional.  In addition to specific on-site training in the use of our equipment, Jana has attended workshops sponsored by Candela Corporation who manufacture our laser equipment.  She has been working at Amazing Laser since February of 2007.
